Maybe I rushed into this.
My fourth semester is quickly approaching, and it’ll be here before I know it. A (logically) normal time span that one spends through college is four years, or eight semesters. I’m about to hit the halfway point. Computer Science is my future, my mentality for choosing this major was to learn about the foundations of a computer system and to be able to explore things about it that I...

This is why I do not understand religion.  →
“Transsexuals and homosexuals will never enter the kingdom of heaven and it is not me who says this, but Saint Paul. People are not born homosexual, they become homosexual, for different reasons: education issues or because they did not develop their own identity during adolescence. It may not be their fault, but acting against nature and the dignity of the human body is an insult to...

WUSA9 Predicts a Snowy Winter for DC
WASHINGTON (WUSA) — It looks like a weak El Nino will be present during our winter. El Nino refers to the warming of the equatorial waters of the Pacific Ocean off the South American coast.  El Nino or Christ Child usually occurs around Christmas time making the fishing poor so the fisherman would return home and spend time with their families. When we have a big El Nino the winters tend to...

Online Translators
All the more reason why you should never trust them. I just put in: ‘I am alright. How are you?’ in a translator into Japanese and it came out with: 私は申し分なくある。 御元気ですか? I then put that back into the translator and did it from Japanese to English, and it came out with: ‘There is I without something to say. It is vigorous?’ Fail.

The thing about being sick is...
jittrbugg: it makes it very easy to get into bed. And then depression makes it easy to stay there. I can’t tell how I’m doing. A lot of questions are coming up for me right now. I’m not sure how I show up in different communities. How much self-policing am I doing? How much of myself am I actually putting forward? Am I completely inept at functioning in straight social settings? Am I reverting...

Don’t you hate it when you sleep on your neck wrong? I can turn my head to the left about thirty degrees and that’s about it.

Invisible
We’re in the same room. We’re feet from each other. Do we exist to one another? So much brought us together. So little brought us apart. Does he remember? Does he care? Do I care? Silence. That’s all there is.

Procrastination
‘The act of postponing, delaying or putting off, especially out of habitual carelessness or laziness’ My life. Procrastination is my drug. My lingering sickness. A gnat buzzing in my ear. Something you want to get rid of, but can’t. I can’t. Thank you, procrastination. Thank you for my long nights. The aroma of my coffee. iTunes on shuffle. Thank you for my headaches, my...
